Default Item transfer question

So I used to play this game right when it came out and I've been wondering if the old account was still working. I logged onto it today and found out that it was and that all my stuff is still there

Just wondering if there is a way for me to transfer the items/gold between and old account and a new account.

If someone wants to help me I'll compensate. My old account is prophecies only and my new account has proph.-nightfall.

Only way that I know to transfer between accounts is using GWx2 or someone else to help you (trust issues )

Default Oh

Well I only have 1 copy. The old copy is probably trashed by now.

I don't really have any in game friends so I guess I'm pretty much screwed huh?

You can check the Tech forum below for a guide to running two GW agents at the same time on the same machine. You do not need two cds, just two accounts.

Having someone help can be risky if you don't know them. Nothing stops them from keeping anything interesting.

You can also use two computers of course. You can install GW on as many computers as you want - it's the account name and password that matter.
For example, if you have a desktop and a laptop, you can install GW on both and then login to one account on one machine, and the other account on the second machine. If you're only transferring stuff, the machines don't even really need to be able to run GW very well, so one (or both) can be real low end computers.

This.

Don't bother getting help from someone, you'll most likely get scammed. You're better off running two GW agents.

Yeah that was my first thought, but my comp is a PC and my computer is a Mac, and unless I'm retarded, I can't install my GW on a Mac.

Default Oh well, last resort

If someone wants to help me transfer, which would require them to sit in town for up to 5 minutes, I'd be really thankful.

If you wanna make like 50k or something for 5mins of work let me know. I don't want to break the terms of use or anything so this is basically the only way I can see to do this.

Don't be too quick to call yourself retarded. You can't run GW directly under OSX, but there are ways to run GW under an emulator. If it's a newer, Intel based Mac, you can even install Windows on it using Bootcamp. Search these forums and/or OSX user groups for more info. You may want to use that other account again, for storage, if nothing else, and, as I said, the Mac doesn't need to run it "well", just to transfer stuff.
